Here’s a simple and delicious way to make crunchy air fryer cod

Prepare the coating station

Bowl 1: Mix flour, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Bowl 2: Beaten egg.

Bowl 3: Breadcrumbs.

Dredge the cod

Pat cod fillets dry with a paper towel.

Coat each fillet in the seasoned flour → dip in egg → coat in breadcrumbs. Press gently so breadcrumbs stick.

Preheat air fryer

Set to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for 3–5 minutes.

Spray & air fry

Lightly spray both sides of breaded cod with olive oil spray.

Place in air fryer basket in a single layer (no overlap).

Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

Fish is done when golden brown, crisp, and flakes easily with a fork (internal temp 145°F / 63°C).
