Crockpot Cola Ham 🥓🥤
Sweet, sticky, and fall-apart tender – minimal effort, maximum flavor!
Ingredients
-
1Â bone-in ham (about 6-8 lbs), fully cooked

1 can (12 oz)Â cola (not diet – sugar is key!)
-
½ cup brown sugar, packed
-
½ cup honey
-
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
-
Optional:Â pineapple slices and maraschino cherries for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Ham
-
Remove ham from packaging and pat dry with paper towels
-
If desired, score the surface in a diamond pattern (about ¼-inch deep)
-
Place ham in the crockpot (you may need to trim to fit – save trimmings for soup!)
Step 2: Make the Glaze
-
In a small bowl, whisk together:
-
Cola
-
Brown sugar
-
Honey
-
Dijon mustard
-
-
Pour mixture over ham
Step 3: Slow Cook
-
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours (until heated through and tender)
-
Every hour or so, spoon pan juices over ham to keep it moist
Step 4: Optional Glaze & Garnish
-
About 30 minutes before serving, carefully transfer some pan juices to a saucepan
-
Simmer on stovetop until thickened (about 10 minutes)
-
Brush over ham
-
If using pineapple and cherries, arrange on top with toothpicks during last hour
Step 5: Rest & Serve
-
Let ham rest 10-15 minutes before slicing
-
Serve with extra pan juices
Pro Tips
-
Don’t use diet cola – the sugar is essential for that sticky glaze
-
Leftover ham bone makes amazing soup or beans!
-
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days
-
The cola tenderizes while adding sweetness and caramelization
Perfect for holidays, Sunday dinners, or when you want to come home to an amazing aroma! 🥓✨
