Blackberry Lavender Iced Sun Tea
Sun Tea Base

4 cups cold water

4-6 black tea bags (or 2-3 tablespoons loose leaf)

Blackberry Syrup

1 cup fresh or frozen blackberries

Instructions

Make the sun tea:
In a clear glass jar, combine water, tea bags, and dried lavender. Cover and place in direct sunlight for 2-4 hours, until it reaches your desired strength. -
Make the blackberry syrup:
In a small saucepan, combine blackberries, sugar, and water. Simmer for 10 minutes, mashing the berries gently. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds. Let cool. -
Assemble:
Fill glasses with ice, pour in the sun tea, and stir in the blackberry syrup to taste. Garnish and enjoy.
